HISTORIC SALEM, INC. ANNUAL MEETING
Historic Salem, Inc. will hold its 65th Anniversary Annual Meeting on June 2nd, 2009 at the National Park Service Visitor Center, 2 New Liberty Street, Salem, MA. The Annual Meeting will commence at 6 pm with refreshments. The Meeting and Preservation Awards will begin at 6:30 pm and at 7:30 pm an illustrated lecture on The Salem Fire of 1914 will be presented by Donald Friary and Marghertia Desy, both members of Historic Salem’s Board of Directors. A similar lecture held in February completely sold out.
The evening’s agenda will include presentation of Historic Salem’s Preservation Awards, election of new Board Members, and a review of the Most Endangered Properties Listing. All Historic Salem members and those interested in Historic Salem’s activities are invited to attend. This event is free and open to the public.
