2026 HSI Annual Meeting | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Join us for this year’s Annual Meeting for members of Historic Salem, Inc. This yearly gathering offers an opportunity to connect with fellow members, meet HSI staff and board leadership, and hear about the work that has shaped Salem’s preservation efforts over the past year.

We will review key accomplishments, share updates on current advocacy and preservation initiatives, and look ahead to the opportunities and challenges facing Salem’s historic resources. Members will participate in the election and welcoming of new leadership who will help guide HSI’s work in the year ahead.

Whether you have been involved with HSI for many years or have recently joined, the Annual Meeting is a chance to come together as a community of preservation advocates and celebrate the collective efforts that help protect Salem’s historic character.

The New Urban Fabric: Balancing Growth and Heritage
7:30—9 pm

Following the Annual Meeting, members are invited to stay for a reception in the Hawthorne Hotel ballroom (6:45—7:30 pm). Hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available. Continue conversations with fellow members, meet HSI staff and board members, and connect with others who care about Salem’s historic future.

After the reception, members are welcome to attend a special Salem 400 conversation hosted by Historic Salem, Inc. Members may attend this program at no cost but must RSVP in advance. When registering for the Annual Meeting, you will have the option to add this conversation to your reservation.

The public is also welcome to attend the conversation; tickets for non-members are $20 and are available through a separate event registration page.
